Griffin was born on October 29, 1997 and was diagnosed with autism at the age of four. Griffin, who is non-verbal and struggles with fine motor skills, has faced many challenges and confronted many barriers. He is an affectionate, curious, and playful individual who pleasures in his repertoire of favourite movies and music and participates in many activities at the Canucks Austism Network.
In addition to his own trials, Griffin watched his sister become gravely ill, which resulted in a 5 month stay at the BC Children’s Hospital. During that time, the hospital staff showed dedicated care not only to his sister but to Griffin as well. Griffin and his dad Alex were overjoyed with their invitation to the Fishing For Kids tournament and are endlessly appreciative to both CAN and BC Children’s Hospital for their continued devotion and support.
